Faye Ann Reinert

July 15, 1942 - May 3, 2022

Faye Ann (Klitzke) Reinert, age 79, of Oshkosh, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022. She was born in Oshkosh on July 15th, 1942, the daughter of Louis and Dorothy Klitzke. Faye married Kenneth Reinert on November 3rd, 2001, and had twenty-one wonderful years together. Faye was the co-owner of Zillges Materials and worked tirelessly to manage and grow the company for over 30 years. She retired in 2001 to become a full-time grandmother and to travel the world with Ken. Faye cherished her role as grandmother and bravely included her kids and grandkids on their many trips and adventures. She was well known for her acuity with numbers, whether it was for business or cards. Buck-up was her favorite! She was incredibly talented at needlepoint and created numerous gorgeous pictures, nativity scenes and ornaments for each member of the family. Faye will be remembered by all for her kindness, generosity, and loving heart. And she will definitely be remembered for her infamous Klitzke cackle! Faye is survived by her beloved husband Kenneth, son Tim (Anne) Zillges and daughter Amy Zillges all of Oshkosh; step-children Mike (Rosa) Reinert of Texas and Linda (Bill) Turner of Alaska; grandchildren Hunter & Lillie Rosendahl; Megan, Maria, Brooke and Melanie Zillges; step-grandchildren Colton (Lisa) Hester and Jason (Missy) Reinert; step-great-grandchildren Caden, Evie, and Chase Hester and Edward, Owen, and Nicholas Reinert. She is further survived by two sisters, Sandra Kritz of Oshkosh, and Gayle (James) Jurek of Tucson, AZ and numerous nieces and nephews. And last but certainly not least, her beloved dog Emma. Faye is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Dorothy Klitzke, sister Joanie (Dan) Voelkel, brother-in-law Michael Kritz, and sister-in-law Patsy Smith. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the American Cancer Society.
