Jim Eaches (Jamie Riggs), age 51, of Oshkosh, passed away on Wednesday October 13, 2021 at Aurora Medical center in Oshkosh. Survived by his wife Taylor Riggs, Mother Linda Eaches of PA, Father Frank Eaches Sr. of FL, 2 brothers Tom Eaches and wife Melissa Eaches of PA, Gary Eaches and wife Jenn Eaches of PA, Children Joshua Eaches of AK, Hannah Plate with husband Nathan Plate of AK, Josiah Eaches with wife Sydney Eaches of AK, Simeon Eaches of PA, Angel Eaches of TX, Nathan Eaches of AK, Abigail Eaches of AK, Lexi Riggs of WI and bonus children Jacob Yarbrough of GA, and Simon Yarbrough of WI, Grandchildren Shepard Plate of AK and Daisy Plate of AK Jamie was a refueler mechanic for 10 years in the Air Force allowing him to explore 16 countries. His passion for the Air Force inspired 2 of his kids to join the Armed Forces with the promise of 2 more of his kids to join in the coming years. He was full of life and always seeking a new adventure. His deep passion was teaching and seeing his loved ones succeed and grow throughout life. Jim’s pride was the brightest when teaching teenagers and seeing the effect of sharing his wisdom. He had an abundant amount of love for his family and friends. He enjoyed acting, and being a professional clown. He loved spreading his clowning legacy to his children through teaching them magic tricks and the secret to telling good jokes. (It’s the timing) Jamie made a multitude of friends everywhere he went. He embraced nature by camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, and learning to be a survivalist. He will be loved and missed by all. Funeral services for Jamie will be held in Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home (865 S Westhaven Oshkosh) on Monday October 18, at 6:00 PM with Chaplain Kelly Vidmar officiating. Full Military Honors will follow service. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM until the hour of services.
