John Edward Dubinski III Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

John Edward Dubinski III, age 64, died unexpectedly on March 14th, 2022 at Froedtert Hospital surrounded by his loving family. John was born on October 2, 1957 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. He graduated from Oshkosh West in 1975. John had a voice and personality that was larger than life. John was an avid outdoorsmen and spent much of his time fishing and hunting. It brought him great pride to fish and hunt with his children. John taught his grandchildren to fish too. He would pack up his tackle box, a cooler of snacks and meet them at the Winneconne Fisheree every year. John had a passion for hunting. John grew up hunting with his father and siblings. He passed his love of hunting down to his children. They spent many Fall mornings out in the marsh. John loved to cook, and even more, loved to feed his family. He made big dinners for his kids and grandkids often. John loved baking cookies with his grandkids. Delivering banana bread, cinnamon rolls, brownies, and kraut kuchens to his kids and grandkids made him very happy. He was always making plans to cook something special for someone. John spent a lot of his springs and summers tending to his beloved garden. It started small while his children were young and grew as his family did. He enjoyed picking, preparing, freezing and canning his harvest. More than anything, John loved being a dad and grandpa. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and would give the shirt off his back. It was easy for John to make you feel special and loved. He was a jack of all trades and a master of most. John is survived by his wife, June Dubinski; their four children John E. Dubinski IV, Megan (Kyle) Daugherty, Amanda (Dan) Brayton, Steven (Susanna) Dubinski; his eleven grandchildren Elijah, Edward, Brad, Morgan, Mabel, Magnolia, Addyson, Halle, Steven II, Hudson, and Owen; his mother Joan Dubinski; his siblings Karen Lopez, Joseph Dubinski, Jeffrey Dubinski, Kelly (Scott) Sorenson, Kathy (Jack) Kalio; his dogs Coffee and Buddy. He is preceded in death by his father, John Edward Dubinski II, sister Gloria Dubinski; nephew Keith; his dogs Sam, Mindy, Brownie, Angel, Goldie, Chocolate, and Sandy. Funeral Services will be held on Friday March 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home (865 S. Westhaven Dr., Oshkosh WI 54904). Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
