Joyce L. Sullivan

September 5, 1930 - January 28, 2022

Joyce L. (Kunde) Sullivan, age 91, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on Fri. January 28, 2022 at Parkview Health Center. She was born in Oshkosh on September 5, 1930, the daughter of Alfred and Theresa Kunde. Joyce married James (Jim) Sullivan on September 16, 1950 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oshkosh. Joyce worked at the Lenox Candle gift shop for many years. She enjoyed square dancing with Jim and was involved in many organizations with her children Lourdes Booster, 4H, Catholic Youth Organization and Cub Scouts. Although her most rewarding activity was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joyce was a lifelong active member of St. Mary’s Parish serving on the Women’s Auxiliary for more than 30 years. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Jim, eldest son Pat, Siblings; Vivian Wenrich, Marlene Peters and Corky Kunde. She is survived by two sons; Michael (Carrie) Sullivan, Timothy Sullivan both of Oshkosh and two daughters; Peg (Ed) Meyer, Minneapolis, Mn., Kathleen (Steve) Spomer, Denver, Co., seven grandchildren; Eric, Brian, Katie, Kaitlin, Paige, Josh and Phillip. She is further survived by ten great-grandchildren. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday February 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM in Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (Saint Mary Site) with Father Jerome Pastors officiating. There will be a visitation for family and friends at the church on Wednesday from 11:30 AM until the hour of services. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established in Joyce’s name. Joyce’s family would like to thank the staff at Parkview Health Center for it’s compassionate care given to Joyce and our entire family.
