Richard A. "Rick" Sitte Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Richard Alan Sitte, age 69, was born in Oshkosh on May 14, 1953 and passed away June 16, 2022 in Oshkosh a son of Norman (preceded in death) and Edythe Sitte (survives Rick). Rick worked as a correction officer and retired from the Wisconsin Resource Center. Rick was the husband of Betsy Sitte who survives and has one sister, Lynn Sitte Temple of Homer, Alaska. Lynn has two wonderful daughters, Jill (John) Temple Hobbs. Rick was “Guncle” Rick to Hudson and Colter Hobbs all of Washington. Blessed with twins was Reba (Seth) Temple McCallum and twins Bristol and Sam all of Petersburg, Alaska. Rick was also step-dad to Schad (Missy) Kulibert and kids, Brennen, Kyla and “Bubba”. Also Lucas (Brianna) Kulibert and their kids Grant and Parker. Rick was very fond of all of them. Rick always had a love for dogs, “Charlie” his walking buddy and constant companion had a great love for each other. Rick also leaves behind a special aunt, Lorel (Pepper) Werner and her children, Carrie, Jenny and Joe. Aunt Nancy Muetzelburg-Hoffman and her children Jane, Sue, Jeff and Alan and many other cousins. Rick was preceded in death by his loving father, Norman; grandparents, Elmer and Lorraine Morden and Amelia and William Sitte and aunts, Margaret (Fritz) Klotzbuecher (two living sons, Dick and Bill). Hilda (John) Reigh, (living daughter, Judy Berholz). His uncle, Tom Morden and wife Mary Ann and brother in-law, Tom Temple. There will be no formal funeral service although a time of visitation will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm Rick had a great sense of humor and personality, being around him was always a pleasure and simply a nice guy and the love of my life. “Charlie” and I will miss you dearly. Donations in his name may be made to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.
