Agnes C. Youngwirth's Obituary
Agnes C. "Dotty" Youngwirth, age 96, passed away on June 20, 2010 at the Evergreen Retirement Community. She was born on April 14, 1914 in Oshkosh, a daughter of the late Frank J. and Mary E. (Binder) Youngwirth. She graduated from Oshkosh High School and the Milwaukee School of Beauty Culture. She was the owner-operator of the Binder Beauty Salon. She married Clarence Youngwirth on May 30, 1938 in St. Vincent Catholic Church in Oshkosh. He precededs her in death. She was a member of the Catholic Womens Society and St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, St. Vincent Site.
Survivors include a daughter, Marcia (Kenneth) Rasmussen; a granddaughter, Amy (Todd) Johnson and a grandson, Brian (Julie) Rasmussen; two great-grandsons, Taylor and Jake Johnson and two great-granddaughters, Kayla and Rachel Rasmussen. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Maribeth; a sister, Marion (Thomas) Kinney and two brothers, Frank and Jacob Binder.
She was a caregiver for a good propondurence of her life and found it most difficult to be on the recieving end. She was an avid card player and belonged to many clubs. She greatly enjoyed gardening, traveling and was a crafts person who loved giving. We will all miss her unique sense of humor and most of all her love for us.
Private family services will be held at St. Jude the Apostle, (St. Vincent Church) with the Reverend Fr. William Van DeKreeke officiating and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Evergreen Retirement Community and Heartland Hospice for the care given to Dotty. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the:
