Ann Paulette Herbst's Obituary
Ann Paulette (Berger) Herbst, age 70, passed away on Monday November 27, 2017 at home in Oshkosh. She was born February 5, 1947 in Oshkosh to Isabel (Strachan) and Herbert Berger Sr. Graduated from Lourdes High School in 1964. Ann married Gerald C.Herbst on June 29, 1968. He preceded her in death May 2016 along with her father Herbert in 1997.
Ann worked at Square D for many years. A devoted member of St. Raphael’s Catholic Church and active with the Franciscan Court. Ann loved gardening, needle work, sewing and many other craft projects. She loved giving to others. She was one of the most kind, warm hearted individual and will be greatly missed by many.
Ann is survived by her mother Isabel Berger of Oshkosh, two daughters Jody Herbst of Milwaukee and Renee (Joe) Mellberg of Oshkosh, two brothers Herbert (Lori) Berger Jr. of North Carolina and Anthony (Molly) Berger of Milwaukee, three sisters Cindy (Peter) Fugleberg of Brookfield, Carla (Darel) Ader of Oshkosh, Holly Koepp of Menomonee Falls and sister in law Bonnie (Gerry) Carlson Winch of Shell Lake. Brody, her furry four legged over weight champion, will remain with family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 2, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church at 830 South Westhaven Drive Oshkosh, WI 54904. Rev. Matthew Rappl will be the celebrant. A time of visitation will be held Saturday at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Christine Ann Center or Father Carr’s Place To Be would be appreciated.
