Anna R. Frank's Obituary
Anna Rose Frank, age 86, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday March 15, 2022 Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born in Oshkosh on July 25, 1935 the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Lemberger Schettl. Anna married Clifford Frank in Sacred Heart Church in Oshkosh on June 5, 1956. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2015.
Anna was a devoted member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She actively participated in the crafting club at the church.
Family was always very important to Anna. She looked forward to the yearly Cousins Party at her house along with summertime holiday picnics with Clifford.
Anna enjoyed going to the Oneida Casino to play bingo.
In some circles she was known as “Dumpling Annie” for the dumplings no one has ever been able to replicate.
Deepest gratitude is extended to Tom & Lori Berndt, John Schnyder and Pat & Mary Roberts who have tirelessly assisted Anna in order to honor her wishes to live out her days in her own home. The family also wishes to thank the staff of Aurora 3rd floor for their compassionate care in Anna’s final days.
Anna Rose is survived by one son; Daniel (Stacy Bouplon) Frank, of Manitowoc, two granddaughters; Amanda (Nic) Bartotto, Oshkosh, Alyssa Lockhart, Oshkosh, two sisters; Betty Brooks, Oshkosh, and Dolores Kind, Fond du Lac, one sister-in-law; Margaret Schettl, Oshkosh. Anna Rose is further survived by many other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by three brothers; Leonard, Ralph, Edwin, and one sister; Florence Berndt.
A Memorial Mass for Anna Rose will be celebrated on Thursday March 31, at 11:00 AM St Jude the Apostle Catholic Church (Sacred Heart site) with the Rev. Lou Golamari officiating. Inurnment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 AM until the hour of services.
In lieu of flowers a memorials may be given to St Jude the Apostle in her name.
