Anna Marie Scott's Obituary
Anna Marie Scott, age 98, of Oshkosh passed away on Friday evening November 15, 2024 at Mercy Medical Center. Anna was born in Miltonsburg, Ohio on May 10, 1926 the daughter of Edward and Celia (Nauer) Block. Anna was united in marriage to Everett Gene Scott of Centerville, Iowa in 1949 at St. John’s Cathedral in Cleveland Ohio. Upon his retirement from the Navy in 1964 they settled in Brookfield, WI.
Anna is survived by one son, Dale (Jan) Scott of Watertown, WI. Two daughters, Ginger (Tom) Gehrman of Oshkosh and Teddi Freisleben of California. One sister, Hilda Block of Garfield Heights, Ohio. Four grandchildren, Kristy Todryk, Karen Wimer, Kathleen (Ricky) Schultz and Jessica (Adam) Tavitian. Three great grandchildren, Marcus and Mason Schultz and Avril Wimer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Everett in 1974, one son and two daughters in infancy, three brothers and four sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 10 am at St. Jude Parish (Sacred Heart Church). Father Louis Golamari will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9 am until the time of Mass. Private committal services will be held at Pinelawn Cemetery in Milwaukee.
