Anthony "Tony" Sitter's Obituary
Anthony “Tony” F. Sitter, age 76, of Oshkosh passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at his residence. Tony was born in Oshkosh on February 15, 1946 the son of George and Ruth (Womaski) Sitter. After high school Tony served his Country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Tony married Susan Marcella Kelly on September 4, 1971 in Fond du Lac. Tony was a Police Officer for the Oshkosh Police Department for 29 years.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Sitter of Oshkosh. Two sons, Michael (Heather) Sitter of Germantown and Daniel Sitter of Fond du Lac. Two brothers, Philip (Nancy) Sitter of Waupaca and Val Sitter of Oshkosh. Four grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Gail Demler and daughter-in-law, Christine Sitter.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 1 pm at the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home at 865 S. Westhaven Drive. Oshkosh, WI 54904. Deacon Pat Gelhar will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 am until the time service. Committal services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers a memorial will be established at a later date.
