Anthony R. Zuehlke's Obituary
Anthony "Tony" Zuehlke age 63 of Oshkosh died unexpectedly at Mercy Medical Center on Tuesday afternoon, April 7, 2009. He was born in Milwaukee, May 20, 1945 to Roy and Eva (Weber) Zuehlke. Tony was a faithful member of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, (St. Mary's Site) and Catholic Knights Br. 54. Tony was a gentle man with limited activities. He enjoyed his weekly shopping trips. Many thanks to the nurses at Mercy Medical Therapy Department where Tony looked forward to his weekly exercises. He had worked for the Food Service Department at UWO for sixteen years and looked forward to meeting with so many students. Survivors include supportive cousins June Zuehlke and son Michael, care giver Violet Zweiger, helpful friends, Tom and Reni Lynch, Norm and Marlyn Herrle, Jerry and Mary Burke, Wayne Jorgensen, James Koepnick and other cousins. Tony was preceded in death by his parents and special cousin Raymond Zuehlke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 14, 2009 at 11am at Most Blessed Sacrament Parish (St. Mary's Site on the corner of Monroe & Merritt) with celebrant Father James Jugenheimer. Visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 10am until the hour of Mass at 11am. Committal services will be held at Riverside Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established for the children with special needs.
