Arnold "Arnie" Dulak's Obituary
Arnold "Arnie" Dulak, 88, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the legacy he built - a large and ever-growing family who brought him his greatest joy. Arnie was a man whose life was measured not only in years but in the love he gave and the family he cherished.
Arnie was a proud father of six children - Curtis (Debbie) Dulak, Cheryl (Dave) Miller, Corinne (Ralph) Toohy, Catherine (Mark) Collins, Charmaine (Mike) Miramontes, Christy (Jay) Hartling. Loving grandfather to eleven grandchildren - Alexandra (Dean) Cook, Samantha, and Dexter Dulak; Meghan (Donovan) Green, Bridget (Owen) Didier; Andrew (Erica) Miller, Mitchell (Izzy) Miller; Madelyn, and Elyse Miramontes; Ryan (Kay) Toohy, and Shannon Toohy; and one great grandchild on the way.
Arnie lived a life defined by quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and deep devotion to his family. Watching his family grow was one of the greatest joys of his life. He found happiness in simple moments: a full house, shared stories, grandchildren playing, and laughter filling the room.
For 42 years, Arnie worked for Eaton/Cutler Hammer in Milwaukee. His dedicated career mirrored the qualities he lived by, dependable and committed.
At the center of his world was his wife, Janice. Their 67-year love story was one of true partnership and devotion. They were inseparable! Best friends who truly loved each other until his very last breath. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faithfulness, and shared adventure. They especially loved to travel, exploring new places side by side, happiest simply being together.
Arnie’s presence was steady and grounded. He taught by example - through patience, humility, dedication, and love. His legacy lives on in the family he nurtured, the work ethic he modeled, and the countless quiet moments that meant more than words ever could.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and remembered whenever a red cardinal appears, our family gathers around a table, or the Packers take the field.
Visitation will be from 9:30am – 11:00am followed by a Mass at 11:00am on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at St. Raphael’s The Archangel Catholic Church located at 830 S. Westhaven Drive, Oshkosh WI 54902.
The family would like to express a heartfelt appreciation to ThedaCare Hospice and Right at Home for their compassionate support. They also extend a sincere appreciation to Fiss & Bills Funeral Home for the tenderness they bestowed when they took Arnie into their care treating him with the dignity he deserved.
