Arthur Bloesl's Obituary
Arthur F. Bloesl, age 94, of Oshkosh, died Wednesday March 13, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center. He was born in Oshkosh on April 11, 1918 the son of the late Adolph and Mary Andrashko Bloesl. Art married his wife of fifty years Betty Swenson in Oshkosh on October 13, 1956. She preceded him in death on January 15, 2007. In his professional carreer Art was employed by the City of Oshkosh in its Street Department. He was catholic by faith.
Survivors include two daughters; Diane (Fred) Schrauben, of DeWitt MI., Patty Ozcan, Menomonee, Falls WI., one granddaughter; Deniz Ozcan, one grandson Kaan Ozcan, one great-granddaughter, Jade, one sister; Marion Schmid, Oshkosh, three sisters-in-law; Phyllis Bloesl, Donna Resheske, and Dorothy Fredrick, all of Oshkosh. Art is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Art was preceded in death by three brothers; Franz, Audy, Royal Bloesl, and one sister, Minnie Koch.
Funeral services for Art will be held in the Poklasny Funeral Home (870 W. South Park) on Saturday March 16, at 12:00PM. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00AM until the hour of services. In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established Poklasny Funeral Home 870 S.
