Barbara Ann Beck's Obituary
Barbara A. Beck (Wawrzinski) passed away at Bethel Home on Saturday, July 13, 2019. Barb was born December 9, 1925 in Oshkosh to Paul & Mabel Wawrzinski. She married Tom Beck on August 2, 1947 at St Peters Church.
Before her marriage, she was employed in the office of Dr. E. Pfefferkorn, MD. After her children were grown, she worked at Oshkosh High School cafeteria, Sonotone Hearing Aids, Brickham Stamping and Pet World until she retired. She used her retirement years traveling to visit her children. She volunteered for Christine Ann Center for 15 years.
She is survived by her children; Paul (Sandy) Beck, Cedarburg, WI, Sue (Ralph) Fernandez, Sun Lakes, AZ, Rick (Deb) Beck, Madison, WI, Carol Beck, Ferry Township, MI, James Beck, Carson City, NV and Nancy Diedrich-Beck (Scott Nerenhausen), Oshkosh WI. Four grandchildren; Eric (Andrea) Beck, White Fish Bay, WI; Brian Beck, Denver, CO; Edward (Jennifer) Diedrich, Melissa, TX and Thomas (Courtney) Diedrich, Oshkosh WI. Six great grandchildren; Anna, Charlie and Mallory Beck, Emery Beck, Taylor and Harper Diedrich and Tanner Diedrich, Brother-in-Law Glen Francis, Cousin Pat Ebersberger, nieces, nephews and many friends.
She is preceded in death her husband Tom, her parents, and her sister Joan Francis.
A Memorial service will be celebrated at Bethel Home Chapel, Oshkosh, WI, Saturday August 17, 2019 at 11am. A private burial will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery. A memorial will be established to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of WI (6737 W Washington St, Ste 2100. Milwaukee, WI 53214)
