Barbara Ann Frevert's Obituary
Barbara Ann (Derr) Frevert Barbara was born in Wauwatosa, WI on July 28, 1942 and lost her battle with Dementia on April 9, 2021. She was a beautiful person inside and out and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Barbara married Donald L Frevert on June 26, 1964 and they raised their family in the town of Omro on the shore of Lake Butte des Morts. They hosted many family gatherings and spent many years traveling and visiting exotic places with their friends and family. Barb was employed for many years in the printing industry working at Miles Kimball, Oshkosh Printers, Neenah Printers and retiring from Menasha Corp in 2002. Barbara was a member of Christ Lutheran Church where she was a quilter, member of the AlterGuild and gave her time and talents by sewing and baking for many Craft Bazaars and Saturday Morning Farmer markets.
Barbara is survived by her husband Donald, daughters Amber (Scott) Dutcher of Berlin, WI and Carrie (Bill) Costello of Oshkosh, WI and son Don (Tracy) Frevert of Oshkosh, WI. She also leaves behind eight Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren, and her best friend Barbara Shew. She is further survived by 2 sisters Beverly and Mary and 2 brothers Dale and Robert. Barb was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Visitation will be from 10am to 12pm, Thursday April 15, 2021 at Fiss & Bills - Poklasny Funeral Home (865 S Westhaven Drive, Oshkosh). Funeral services will follow at 12pm with Pastor Connie Weiss officiating. Burial to follow at Lake View Memorial Park, 2786 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh. The family is very grateful for the care and support provided by the staff at Patriot Place of Berlin and the Heartland Hospice team.
