Barbara Kaiser's Obituary
Barbara Ann Kaiser, 70, of Oshkosh died Thursday, January 3, 2013 in Bethel Home. She was born June 5, 1942 in Oshkosh the daughter of Frank Edward and Leona Marie Stahl Patri. On October 20, 1962 she married the love of her life, Melvin James Kaiser at Sacred Heart Church. Barbara was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Church, she enjoyed reading, needlepoint and was employed for many years at the Miles Kimball Co. She is survived by her son Mark Kaiser of Oshkosh, one brother, Steven J. (Debbie) Patri of Oshkosh, two sisters, Patricia (Dennis) Roe and Suzanne Fink all of Oshkosh and two grandchildren, Daniel Roever of MI and Vanessa Wallace of Oshkosh. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her niece, Lisa Sharpe. Barbara was known for her ability to make people smile and laugh. She had a pleasant personality. She could be a "hard nut to crack", but once you were a friend you were a friend for life. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Noon, at St. Jude the Apostle Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, The Rev. Matt Simonar officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the Poklasny Funeral Home, Monday from 5-7pm, where there will be a 7pm Prayer Service. Friends may also call at the Church Tuesday from 11am until the time of services. A special "thank you" to the staff at 2 west of Bethel Home and to the Theda Care at Home Hospice.
