Barbara Ann Shilobrit's Obituary
Barbara Ann Shilobrit, age 89, of Oshkosh passed away on Monday afternoon on March 20, 2023 at Aurora Medical Center. Barb was born in Berlin, WI on May 23, 1933 the daughter of Valentine and Frances (Trader) Markowski. Barb married Alexander Shilobrit on October 26, 1968. She was employed as a nurse for many years in Oshkosh and also Fond du Lac, WI.
Barb is survived by one brother, Vincent Markowski of Fond du Lac. Two sisters, Mary Shurpit of Fond du Lac and Frances Grasee of Ripon. Two sisters-in-law, Lorraine Markowski of Appleton and Carol Gibson of Oshkosh. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alexander on July 30, 1990, three brothers, Peter, Anthony and August, two sisters, Josephine and Genevieve.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 11 am at St. Jude Parish (Sacred Heart Catholic Church on the corner of 6th & Knapp). Father Louis Golamari will be the celebrant. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10 am until the time of Mass.
In Lieu of flowers donations should be directed to, St. Jude Catholic Church, Salesian Missions or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
