Barbara Ann Weidner's Obituary
Barbara Ann Weidner, age 67, of Oshkosh, passed away on March 5, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center with family by her side. She was born in Oshkosh on September 25, 1950 to Harold and Jane (Meisinger) Boushele. Barbara married Doug Weidner on April 4, 1970 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh and they were married for 42 years. Doug preceded her in death in 2016. Barbara graduated from Lourdes High School in Oshkosh. She was a former member of St. John’s Catholic Church for several years before they closed. Barbara was very family oriented and she was also a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed sister weekends at the casino, playing bingo, and cards with family.
Barbara is survived by and will be deeply missed by her father; Harold Boushele, son; Richard (Tiffany) Weidner, of Michigan, daughter; Paula (Mike) Weidner, of Oshkosh; daughter, Heidi (Eric) Braatz, of Oshkosh, son; Ryan Weidner, of Oshkosh, six brothers; Ken Boushele, Steve Boushele, Harvey (Debbie) Boushele, Russ Boushele, Bob (Tammy) Boushele, and Brian Boushele, three sisters; Debbie (Morgan) Voss, Ann Doro, and Chris (Randy) Spatt, and four grandchildren; Emily and Owen Braatz and Hunter and Chance Weidner. She is further survived by other relatives and many dear friends.
Barbara is preceded in death by her loving husband; Doug and her mother; Jane Boushele.
A time of visitation for Barbara will be held on Friday March 9, 2018 from 4 pm until 6 pm in the Poklasny Funeral Home at 870 West South Park Avenue Oshkosh, WI 54902. The memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 6 pm. Deacon Pat Gelhar will be officiating.
