Barbara G. Zamzow's Obituary
Barbara Gertrude Zamzow, age 75, passed away at Mercy Hospital on Saturday, October 27th, 2018 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Barb was born in Waupun Wisconsin to Beatrice and Sidney Konings on November 7th, 1942. She is survived by two sisters, Beverly Hartgerink of Waupun and Joanne (Allan) Albright of Markesan.
Barb was married to Jim Zamzow and raised two daughters, Bonnie Bergquist and Beth Zamzow, both from Oshkosh. She worked for many years at Morgan Door Company/Jeld-Wen before retiring. She has 2 grandchildren, Heather Swenson (Dustin Montalvo) and Christopher Swenson. Barb took pride in being a loving great grandmother to Nicole, Taylor, Boyd, and Molly.
Barbara was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed attending with her daughter and friends each Sunday as well as volunteering for the church. She also enjoyed spending time with her family as often as she could. Her family and church were very important to her.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 1st, 2018 at 5pm in Poklasny Funeral Home at 870 W. South Park Avenue Oshkosh, WI 54902. Rev. Allen J Kramp will be officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3pm until the time of service.
