Bernice Marie Berger's Obituary
Bernice M. Berger, age 91, of Oshkosh passed away on Thursday evening October 19, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. She was born in Oshkosh on July 25, 1926 to Joseph and Alvina (Spanbauer) Resop.
Bernice married Clifford Berger on April 12, 1947.
Bernice was the manager/owner at Berger Sausage Company for many years. She was a faithful member of St. Jude Parish (Sacred Heart Church).
Bernice is survived by her three sons Dennis (Mary) Berger of Oshkosh, Greg Berger of Oshkosh, and Gerald (Christine) Berger of Oshkosh, one daughter Donna (John) Nelson of Oshkosh, one brother Kenneth (Barb) Resop of Oshkosh, one sister Sr. Jane Resop of Elm Grove, WI, ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Bernice is preceded in death by her parents, husband Clifford in 2010, three brothers, and one sister.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday October 27, 2017 at 7 pm at Fiss & Bills Funeral Home at 865 S. Westhaven Drive Oshkosh, WI 54904. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 pm until 7 pm at the funeral home. Father William Van De Kreeke will officiate. Private Committal Services will be held at Lake View Memorial Park.
