Betty Mabel Groth's Obituary
Betty Mabel Groth, age 83, of Oshkosh passed away on February 26, 2026 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Kiel, WI on May 8, 1942 the daughter of the late Helmuth and Edna (Bratz) Boeldt. On April 18, 1964 she married Donald L. Groth, Sr. Betty was employed at Oshkosh North as a custodian for many years and a faithful member of Bethany United Church of Christ. Betty is survived by two daughters, Laura (Dan) Lewis of Oshkosh and Lisa (Marc) Sahr of Apache Junction, AZ. One sister, Jane (Gary) Hanke of Plymouth, WI. Very special friend, Dale Grassee. Six grandchildren, Amanda (Keith), Robin, Sarah (Derick), Cory (Stacy), Heidi (Andy) and Briana (Brandon). Six great grandchildren, Riley, Brooklyn, Jayden, Grayson, Nicholas and Sage. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald in 2003 and one son Donald, Jr in 2011. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11 am at Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home at 865 S. Westhaven Drive. Oshkosh, WI 54904. Rev. Deb Bartelt will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday from 9 am until the time of service.
