BETTY STANG's Obituary
Betty A Stang, age 84, of Oshkosh, died Saturday June 21, 2014 at Bethel home in Oshkosh. She was born in Oshkosh on February 9, 1930 the daughter of the late Herman and Ella Niemuth Meyer. Betty married Vern Stang on July 5, 1951 in Peace Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-two years Vern Stang, of Oshkosh, one son; Russ (Kathy) Stang SR, Oshkosh, two daughters; Debbie (Jeff) Erspamer, Oshkosh, Sandy Stang, Oshkosh, four grandchildren; Russ (Jodie) Stang JR, Oshkosh, Jennifer (Steve) Dewhurst, Oshkosh, Toby (Bonnie) Erspamer, Oshkosh, Tabitha (special friend Michelle Kerklin) Erspamer, Neenah, and one sister; Virginia Hannes, Oshkosh. Betty is further survived by four great-grandchildren; McKaylyn, Megan, Ronin, Gavin, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by five brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services for Betty will be held in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home (865 S Westhaven) on Wednesday June 25, at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Carl Knitt officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the hour of services.
