Bob Hemminghaus' Obituary
Robert "Bob" Hemminghaus, age 53, of Oshkosh passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in the ER at Mercy Medical Center. Bob was born on October 12, 1959 in Oshkosh, the youngest son of Ray and Marion Hemminghaus. Bob was raised in Oshkosh attending Smith, South Park, and Oshkosh West High School. On May 1, 1981 he married Elizabeth "Betsy" Liese. Together they raised two wonderful boys who both made Bob very proud. Bob was an excellent Dad to his boys and made sure that they grew up with a good set of morals and values. He worked as a personal lines insurance agent for Duffy Meyer Insurance and then McClone Insurance Agency.
Survivors include: his loving & devoted wife Betsy; sons, Luke & Paul Hemminghaus, his mother Marion L. Hemminghaus; brother, Steven (Gudrun) Hemminghaus; sister, Lynn Hemminghaus (Mike Nelson); cousins; Glen (Julie) Barthels, Jane (Ben) Hughes, LaRae Bradley, LeAnn (Mark) Donaldson; mother-in-law, Sharon Liese; sisters-in-law, Laura (Bucky) Ruedinger, Polly (Darren) Reichenberger, brothers-in-law, Matt Liese, Josh (Mandy) Liese, nieces & nephews; Mallori & Logan Reichenberger, Adam & Abby Wilson, and Jacob Grasee.
Bob was preceded in death by his his father, Ray Hemminghaus, grandparents, Martin & Edna Hemminghaus, Herb & Lillian Barthels, aunts & uncles: Doris & Roger Bradley, Bud & Lorraine Barthels. father-in-law, Al Liese, brother-in-law, Fred Liese.
Bob enjoyed the simple things in life, like a good meal at Parnell's Place or just a nice warm, sunny day. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
A celebration of Bob's life will be held in the Poklasny Funeral Home (870 W. South Park) on Saturday November 24, from 10:00AM-1:00PM. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00AM until 1:00PM
