Boleslaw M. Pawicz's Obituary
Boleslaw M. “Bill” Pawicz, age 78, formerly of Oshkosh, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in King. He was born on October 7, 1943 in Germany a son of the late Konstanty and Albina (Smutek) Pawicz Sr. Bill was proud of his service in the US Army and greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing and painting. He had worked for and retired from Oshkosh Truck Corp. after 27 years of service.
He is survived by and his memory will be cherished by three sons, John W. (Jill) of Omro, Michael J. (Tarah) of Berlin and James K. Pawicz of Oshkosh; a daughter, Anna M. (Mark) Futter of Shiocton and a brother, Konstanty (Mary) Pawicz Jr. of Milwaukee. He is further survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jon Pawicz.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Dr. in Oshkosh with the Rev. Kevin Ripley officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 pm until the time of service. Full military honors will be provided immediately following the service. A memorial fund will be established.
