Brandon Randal Maikai Perzentka, age 36, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away on December 20, 2024 at his home.He was born on December 8, 1988 in Honolulu, Hawaii, the son of Ron Gottstien (birth father) and Theresa Recore. At the age of 4, Brandon was adopted and raised by Joseph Perzentka (stepfather) in his marriage with Theresa Recore. On June 14, 2024 he married Jordan Alyce Polansky, who survives
.
Brandon was a loving son, protective brother, dedicated husband, and caring friend. His goofy attitude never failed to light up a room. Those in his life would all agree on one thing: everybody loved Brandon. He was always authentic, free spirited, and truly one of a kind. He loved playing music, having fun with his wife and pets, going to concerts with his sister, taking trips to the cabin with his dad, and being a connoisseur of spicy foods.
Brandon was known by all as a talented musician. He was an incredible drummer, and his passion for music brought him so much happiness. As a young kid, he was gifted his first drumset and the two were inseparable ever since. Even when he didn't have his drumsticks in hand, he'd be drumming on his steering wheel or just the air. There were no bounds when he was ready to jam. Throughout his life, he was in multiple bands and even won a WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) award during his time with Beyond Fate. From the most mellow classics to the heaviest rock, he had a huge appreciation for all music. Brandon may not have lived a long enough life, but he certainly lived a full, adventurous one. He leaves us with countless memories and reasons to smile when we think of him. He will be dearly missed, and forever loved. Till we meet again, rock on, Brandon.
Brandon is survived by his mother, Theresa Recore; stepfather, Joseph (Oxana) Perzentka; sister, Jonique (Aaron) Monte.
A time of visitation and Celebration of Life will be held at Venue 404, 404 N Main St., Oshkosh, on February 8th, 2025, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a eulogy by his sister at 2 p.m., followed by the opportunity for friends and family to speak if they wish.
