Carol J. Kujawa's Obituary
Carol passed away at home on Sunday, May 18, at the age of 86. She was born to Emily and Robert Kulow on April 13, 1939. She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1959 and worked for over 44 years at Mercy Hospital caring for sick children and premature infants. Her hobbies included reading, gardening, quilting, and applique.
Carol was married to Donald Kujawa from 1960 until he passed away in 2020. She is survived by three children: Lynne (Kousha), David (Jennifer), and Robert (Jennifer). She is also survived by brother Carl (Rhonda), brothers-in-law James Kujawa and Marvin Weyenberg, grandchildren Ella and Isaac, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, infant daughter Beth Ellen, daughter-in-law Diane Dreon, and sisters-in-law Judy Kujawa and Beverly Weyenberg.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Jude (Sacred Heart) in Oshkosh on Saturday, June 14, at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s memory may be given to the Nurses Foundation of Wisconsin at https://www.wisconsinnurses.org/donate-now/. The family wishes to express thanks and gratitude to all who loved her.
