Carol J. Pernaski's Obituary
Carol J. Pernaski, 69, passed away peacefully January 19, 2021 at home surrounded by her family after a courageous three year fight against pancreatic cancer. She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with friends and family, fishing, boating and Florida vacations. She enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers as she had an impeccable green thumb. She and Mike took pride in growing a fruitful summer garden each year.
She was born on March 30, 1951 the daughter of Harold and Nadine Feavel. Carol graduated from Oshkosh High School in 1969. After high school, she worked at Morgan Door and then Lamico in Oshkosh for over 30 years until they closed in 2011.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Mike Pernaski, stepson Mike (Jill) Pernaski, her beloved grandchildren Miranda, Michael, and Karlee, her sister Julie (Howie) Schmitz, nephew Jeff (Jennifer) Schmitz and their children Peyton and Logan, her niece Jenny (Jill) Schmitz, sister-in-laws Janet Puckett and Joan Olsen along with additional family and countless friends.
She is proceeded in death by her father Harold Feavel, mother Nadine Muschinski Mack, stepfather Roland Muschinski Mack and brother-in-laws Jim Puckett and Pete Olsen.
The family would like to thank Dr Hurley and Ascension Medical Oncology, as well as, Lisa and the Ascension hospice care team.
To celebrate Carol’s life, friends and family are invited to gather at Tanners Tap in Omro on Saturday January 23, 2021 from 2 pm - 6 pm. A private ceremony with family and interment will take place at a later date at Lake View Memorial Park.
