Carol Radley's Obituary
Carol Ann Radley, devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and wife, passed away on the afternoon of Saturday, September 28, 2024, in Oshkosh, WI. She was born in Fond du Lac, WI, on September 27, 1942 to parents Alex and Anita Gasper. She is survived by her brother Gary “Butch” Gasper (Marlis), sister-in-law Marlene Gasper, two sons Paul (Rita Bonnici) and Kevin Radley, granddaughter Nari Radley, and many nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Radley and her brothers, Alex “Sonny”, Gerald, and Robert Gasper.
Carol, also known as Toots by her family, was a self-described tomboy as a child growing up in rural Fond du Lac County. She enjoyed recounting her early days living on a farm and held the memory of her horse King especially dear. She was always a country girl at heart.
Carol took great pride in her family and her home and always made sure both got her undivided attention. She also liked to travel, especially getting lost on long country drives on beautiful days. She loved the dogs and cats she had as pets throughout her life and enjoyed going to craft shops and fairs to look for just the right things to beautify her home. She especially loved spending time with her brothers and extended family and relished the laughter and good times she shared with them.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carol’s memory can be made to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society (oahs.org). A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Saturday October 5, with a brief service immediately after, at Poklasny Funeral Home at 870 W. South Park Ave., Oshkosh, WI 54902.
Carol’s family would also like to thank Lakeshore Manor Assisted Living Facility of Oshkosh, WI, for all the care they’ve given her in the last three years.
