CAROL J TROIBER's Obituary
Carol J. Troiber, age 70, of Oshkosh, died Friday January 20, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Oshkosh on Sunday September 22, 1946 the daughter of Howard and Gertrude Sipple Leininger. She married Dale Troiber on May 21, 1975. Until the time of her retirement Carol was employed at Hoffmaster for over forty years. Carol enjoyed The Packers, her dog Gunner, annual Door County golf outings, Tuesday lunch with friends, and the traditional Monday Dinners with with her son Jeff, and her granddaughter Alexandria. Family was the most important thing to her.
Carol is survived by her husband of forty two years; Dale Troiber of Oshkosh, one son; Jeff (Christa) Meinen, Oshkosh, one granddaughter; Alexandria Meinen, Oshkosh, two sisters; Alberta “Bertie” (Fred) Albright, Clinton TN., Mary Griedl-Lee (Jim) Johnson. Carol is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Howard Leininger, Albert and Gertrude Sipple Greidl.
Funeral services for Carol will be held in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home (865 S. Westhaven) on Wednesday January 25, at 6:00 PM. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the hour of services.
Carol was truly a kind and caring person that had a big smile for everyone and a harsh word for no one. She lived a full and wonderful life. We will miss her greatly.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
