CHARLES JAMES LEMIUEX's Obituary
Charles J “Chuck” Lemieux Jr., age 80, of Oshkosh, died Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. He was born in Oshkosh on August 27, 1935, the son of the late Charles M and Lucille Gauger Lemieux Sr. Chuck married Shirley M Strutz in St Mary's Catholic Church in Omro on June 19, 1953. He retired from Winnebago Mental Health Institute as a Recreational Therapist aiding at-risk youth. Chuck was a long-time member of St Raphael’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh where he ministered as a lector. He was a member of the Sawyer Swampers Deer Hunting Club for more than 50 years, and a member of the Otter Street Fishing Club.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Lemieux, of Oshkosh; three sons, Mark Lemieux, Las Vegas, NV., Gary (Debi) Lemieux, Neenah, Craig (Karen) Lemieux, Fremont; six grandchildren, Andrea (Andrew) Williams, Erin (Matt) Lemieux-Dombroski, Shauna Lemieux, Jessica (Jhan) Lehman, Mitchell Lemieux, and Calvin Lemieux. Chuck is further survived by brother, David (Roxi) Lemieux, Oshkosh; five great-grandsons and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 6, at 11:00 AM in St. Raphael’s Catholic Church with the Rev Doug Le Captain officiating. Burial will be in Omro Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday morning from 9:00 AM until the hour of services.
