Charlotte C. Lee's Obituary
Charlotte C. Lee, age 94, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 4, 2014. She was born on January 5, 1920 in Oshkosh a daughter of the late Harry and Estella (Neubauer) Lee. Charlotte never married. She was very active in the community having been a member of the Oshkosh Business Women’s Club. She worked for 45 years as a Bookkeeper for the Harmon Insurance Agency. Charlotte’s church, St. Mary’s Catholic was also very important to her. She was a member of the the church choir for 49 years and was also a member of the Ladies Benevolent Society. Having little family, her memory will be cherished by those she was a dear friend to and to those with whom she came in contact with during her long life; friends, neighbors, co-workers and many others. She will be sadly missed by those who knew her. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harry and a sister, Sharon Rose. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Charlotte on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh. The Rev. James Jugenheimer will celebrate the Mass. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, next to her parents and other family members. There will be no visitation, friends are asked to meet directly at the church on Thursday for the Mass.
