Charmaine J. Scott's Obituary
Charmaine J. Scott, age 87, of Oshkosh, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born on July 18, 1928 a daughter of the late Isadore and Julia Molash. She was married to Royce G. Scott for 45 years until his death on August 26, 1993. In her younger days, Charmaine was involved with many of her children’s activities which included school band, 4-H, and Cub Scouts to name a few. She also enjoyed hobbies such as sewing, knitting, and crochet, making many wonderful items for family and friends.Royce and Charmaine received several awards for their participation in the Child Foster Care program initially taking care of newborn babies prior to their adoption. In the past few years, Mom was presented with numerous medical challenges and bravely faced each and every one before succumbing to her final battle. She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by a son, Don (Char) Scott; daughters, Marguerite Flanigan, Bonnie Conner (fiance’ Joe Piezker), Julie Erdmann, and Lisa Blom; daughter-in-law, Cindy Scott; and foster son, David (Lisa) Tucker; sisters, Anne Laurie (Jerry) Kiesling, Perpetua (Pet) Molash and twin Germaine (Dick) Kiser. She is further survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, cousins, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Daniel L. Scott Sr.; a son-in-law, Michael Erdmann; a great-grandson, Deon; brothers, Adrian and John Molash; sisters, Vivian Anderson and Johanna Kriz. Funeral services for Charmaine will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh with the Rev. Matt Simonar officiating. Burial will follow in Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. The family wishes special thanks to Dr. Lance Zernzach and staff as well as the staff of Eden Medows Rehabilitation and Nursing, Aurora Medical Center and Aurora Hospice, for their care and compassion.
