Cheryl A. Carley's Obituary
Cheryl A. Carley, age 64, of Oshkosh. It is with great sorrow that we announce Cheryl's passing at her home surrounded by family after a year long battle with cancer. She was born on March 20, 1961in Oconto, WI a daughter of the late Monty L. and Sue A. (Swiedarke) Lipp. Cheryl married the love of her life James W. Carley on October 25, 1986. Cheryl had worked for Alliance Laundry in Ripon for 33 years until her retirement. She greatly enjoyed time spent at the Casinos along with thrift shopping, movies and going out to eat when she could. She also enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren and many friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by her husband James; a daughter, Alli (fiance Steven); brothers, John (Dawn) King and Kevin (Wanda) Lipp; sister, Kim (Jack) Paulsen; two grandchildren, Aubrey Carley and Aven Dunbar; daughter in law, Ashley Smith. She is further survived by numerous brothers and sisters in law, other relatives and many dear friends along with her precious fur baby cats. She was preceded in death by a son, Shannon Carley; father and mother in law, Richard and Bernice Carley; a nephew, William J. King.
A time of visitation will be held for Cheryl on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 1 pm until 3 pm in the Fiss “& Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home 865 S, Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh. A time of sharing memories will take place at 3 pm. The family wishes special thanks to everyone for being there for Cheryl, especially the hospice nurses.
