Clarence J. "Junior" Fischer's Obituary
Clarence J. “Junior” Fischer, age 94 of Oshkosh, passed away on July 14, 2022. He was born on May 7, 1928 in Oshkosh a son of the late Clarence J. and Irma(Luebke) Fischer. Clarence married the former Lorraine M. Szep on May 10, 1947 in St. Josaphat Catholic Church. He had worked for and retired from Rockwell International. Clarence greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, traveling, walking and a good martini- no ice.
He is survived by and his memory will be cherished by his wife of 75 years, Lorraine; a son, Joe Fischer of North Fond du Lac; three daughters, Cheryl Fischer of Omro, Susan (Jim ) Delfosse of Oshkosh and Ellen Fowler of North Carolina. He is further survived by a son-in-law, Gordy Czoschke; numerous grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Gerald; a daughter, Karen Czoschke and a grandson, Brian Delfosse.
A memorial service will be held for Clarence on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 11 am in the Fiss & Bills—Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive with the Rev. Louis Golamari officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10 am until the time of service. Inurnment will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the staff of of Visiting Angels Home Health Care for their assistance to the Fischer family.
