CLIFFORD FRANK's Obituary
Clifford W Frank, age 83, of Oshkosh, died Monday December 14, 2015 at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. He was born in Oshkosh, on March 30, 1932 the son of the late Henry and Mary Schneider Frank. Cliff joined the U S Air Force, where he served four active duty, and four years in the reserves. On June 9, 1956 Cliff married Anna Schettl in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oshkosh. Until the time of his retirement Cliff was employed as The Asphalt Paving Foreman for Winnebago County. He was a forty-five year member of the Oshkosh Pigeon Racing Club, enjoyed golfing, deer, duck hunting, trips to Lake Monroe in Canada, with his son, brother and nephew, trips to Las Vegas, weekly visits to to the casino in Oneida, and going out for dinner. In Cliff’s later years he and the TV remote were inseparable. He was a lifelong member of member of St Jude Parish formerly Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; Anna Frank, of Oshkosh, one son; Daniel (Stacy Bouplon) Frank, Sheboygan, two granddaughters; Amanda, Alyssa, four sisters-in-law; Jackie Frank, Oshkosh, Margaret Schettl, Winneconne, Dolores Kind, Fond du Lac, Betty Brooks, Oshkosh, and special friend; John Schnyder, Omro. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Cliff was preceded in death by two brothers; Harold, Willard Frank, three sisters; Florence (Herb) Mugerauer, Mary Jane (Archie) Mugerauer, JoAnn (Marlin) Hahn, brothers-in-law; Leonard (Alice) Schettl, Ralph (Dorothy) Schettl, Edwin Schettl, Lionell Brooks, and Harold Kind.
Funeral services for Cliff will be held on Saturday December 19, at 11:00 AM in St Jude the Apostle Catholic Church (Sacred Heart worship site) with the Rev Matt Simonar officiating. Inurnment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Church on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the hour of services.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
