Cynthia"Cyndi" Ann Johnson's Obituary
Cynthia "Cyndi" Ann Johnson, age 60, of Oshkosh passed away unexpectedly on Friday afternoon January 29, 2016 at her residence. Cyndi was born in Oshkosh on March 3, 1955 the daughter of William and Doris (Stamborski) Johnson. She was employed as a waitress in the area for many years including Marc's Big Boy and the Pioneer Inn and Resort. She was employed for over 30 years at Uni Travel and Fox World Travel as a travel agent. Cyndi is survived by her brother; Jeffry (Patt Seleen) Johnson of West St. Paul, MN. One sister; Patrice (Gary) Schettle of Green Bay, WI. Special aunts; June M. Stamborski of Oshkosh and Dorothy Jones of California. One uncle; Richard Johnson of California. Special cousin; Paula Steinert of Oshkosh. Cyndi's special dogs; Mischa and Keera. Other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; William and Doris both in 2013. Funeral services will be held on Friday February 5, 2016 at 7pm at the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home at 865 S. Westhaven Drive. Oshkosh, WI 54904. Rev. Jeff Knoll will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 4pm until the time of service. Committal services will be held at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Oshkosh on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 10am. Cyndi's family would like to send a Special Thank you to all the friends at Fox World Travel for their care, support and friendship. Cyndi will always be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit and for her willingness to help anyone at the drop of a hat. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Cyndi's name.
