Dakota Michael Schroeder's Obituary
Dakota Michael “Cody” Schroeder passed away at home on April 18, 2021. He was born in Oshkosh on December 5, 1997 to Gary Schroeder Jr. and Wendy Izzo.From a young age he was mechanically inclined, and he could fix anything. He customized bicycles and learned to ride motorcycles. His dream was to build a custom Harley. More than anything he loved his family especially his daughters, Esme and Amira. He was always willing to help anyone in need and he was a loyal friend to everyone. He had a big heart and was always concerned about others. Cody always had a way of bringing people laughter with his sense of humor, raps and dancing.
He is survived by and his memory will be cherished by his mother, Wendy (Jerry Witikowski) Izzo; father, Gary Schroeder Jr.; step-father, Scott King; brothers, Jordan (fiance Kayla Beyer) Schroeder, Andrew Schroeder, Dustin Schroeder; sisters, Marlena King, Lindsay Schroeder; children, Esme and Amira Schroeder, Dakari Childress; nieces,Nayeli Schroeder, Alyvia Schroeder; nephew, Dominik Schroeder;uncle, Michael (Kathy Newsom) Izzo. He is further survived by many aunts and uncles and other family. Cody is preceded in death by his grandparents, Susan Izzo,Dominic Izzo, Gary Schroeder Sr., Susan Schomdt, Dorothy King, Edward King;aunt, Debra Izzo an uncle, Roger Weinert.
Funeral services for Cody will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 12 noon in the Fiss and Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Dr. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Mole Lake, WI. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
