Dan V. Binder's Obituary
Dan V. Binder "Shorty", 83 of Oshkosh died Wednesday January 7, 2015 at his home. He was born August 31, 1931 in Oshkosh the son of the late Michael and Mary Matsche Binder. , He started his career by taking a carpentry apprenticeship and around 1967 he started his own business (Dan V. Binder Const). After 30 years he retired and he was proud that 2nd and now 3rd generation carried on his business. His favorite past time was playing cards or shaking dice with family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting and golfing at the cabin (Shaft Club)..... Dan was a member of Sacred heart Catholic Church
He is survived by..4 sons Tom(Chris)Binder, Dan (Ellen)Binder of Oshkosh Tim(Lynn)Binder of Wild Rose Mark(Nicole)Binder of Omro and 1 Daughter Diane(Mary Z.) Binder of Redgranite.
8 grand children Jenny, Jessie, Jerry, Jon, Michelle, Craig, Elijah and Carissa and 8 Great grand children Zach, Kyle, Austin, Emma, Ryan, Ethan, Garrett and Blake. He is also survived by 1 brother Floyd Binder and 1 Sister Joan Annis He was preceded in death by 4 brothers Rich, John, Jim, Mike and 3 sisters..Loraine, Dorothy, Rita
He will truly be missed.
Family and friends may call at the Fiss and Bills Poklasny Funeral Home,865 S Westhaven Dr, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers a Memorial has been established.
