DANIEL HURLBUT's Obituary
Daniel R Hurlbut, age 74, of Oshkosh, died Friday January 26, 2018 at his home. He was born in Oshkosh on April 19, 1943 the son of the late Horace “Pud” and Anna Wolf Hurlbut. Dan married Claudia Leinweber in St Peters Catholic Church in Oshkosh on October 22, 1966. Dan started his career in retail working at Fuhs Drug Store in Oshkosh as a “soda jerk”. He also worked in retail management for Shopko, Osco’s and Walgreen’s. Later, Dan worked in marketing at LSI Specialties in Oshkosh and Rockford Tool Company in Oconomowoc, WI.
Dan is survived by his loving wife; Claudia Hurlbut, of Oshkosh, one brother; Michael, various brothers and sisiers-in-law, their spouses, nieces, nephews, their spouse, great-nieces, nephews and their spouses.
He was preceded in death by his parents two brothers; Melvin, Ralph (Mary) Hurlbut, two sisters; Patricia (Ken) Inch, and Kathleen Mielke.
Dan battled Parkinsons for the last twelve years with the help of his wife, family and friends. He had many adventures in his life to distract him from the effects of Parkinsons.
Thanks to all who helped with get togethers and trips for Dan. Dan requested he have no memorial service.
