David Duane Beulen's Obituary
David Duane Beulen, age 87, of Oshkosh died Saturday, May 28, of natural causes. He was born on June 20, 1934, the son of the late Glen Beulen Sr. and Viola (Cartwright). He married Joyce (Carpenter) in 1956 in Oshkosh. He served with the 32nd National Guard, Red Arrow Division, from 1953 to 1956, and with the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958.
He was employed with Marquart Mill Work Co., then later, with Dewey Concrete and J.B.T. Trucking, all of Oshkosh. He also drove bus for the Oshkosh Drum and Bugle Corp on, summer weekends to parades, and exhibitions. Dave was a fan of all Wisconsin sports, but an even bigger fan when his kids were playing sports--from Cub Scouts on up. He was always up for a laugh and a story with friends and family during a game of cribbage or a round of 8-ball on the pool table.
David is survived by his wife, Joyce (Carpenter) of Oshkosh; three sons, Gene (Tina) of Menasha, Michael of Oshkosh, Keith (Ellen) of the Villages FL, and daughter, Connie of Oshkosh; two sisters, Patricia Mellenthin of Omro and Mary Roberts of Oshkosh.

Great grandchildren include; Anna, Mason, Madeline, Eli, Ian, Henry and Roman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers; Glen Jr. (Berlin), Allen (Omro), Richard (Oshkosh), baby sister Verna and finally, several pet dogs. We would like to thank the staff at Aurora Medical Center for their caring hand in his final days.
Visitation will be at Fiss & Bills, 865 S. Westhaven Dr., Oshkosh on Friday, June 3, at 10:00 with a service at 11:00, followed by the Interment at Lake View Memorial Park 2786 Algoma Blvd., Oshkosh.
