David George Buch's Obituary
David George Buch, age 83 of Oshkosh, passed away on Thursday October 26, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center. He was born January 21, 1934 in Fond du Lac. He was the son of George and Lucille (Heinz) Buch. He served his Country in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. David married Nina Leib (Welch) on August 20, 2006. He worked at the Jefferson School District for many years as a Risk Manager.
David is survived by his wife Nina Leib-Buch of Oshkosh, one son Robert Lee Buch of Denver, CO (Suzanne Buch, David Buch, Heather Buch, Stephen Buch, and Mariah Buch), two daughters Theresa Compton of Grand Junction, CO (Dustin Compton, Jared Compton, Tanya Sherebernikoff, and David Compton) and Jennifer Lewis of Littleton, CO (Cary Lewis and Elizabeth Andrews), one sister Jeanette Kuble of Berlin, Four step-sons Steve Leib (Mary Beth Leib, Maxwell Leib, and Noah Leib), Joey Leib, Mike Leib (Eric Leib, Meghan Holtz (Tim), great grandson Conner Holtz, and Adam Leib) and Rick Leib (Susie Leib, Ben Leib, Josh Leib, Emma Leib, Allie Leib, and Sammie Leib), and special family and friends: David and Janie Juedes, Janice Mathe, Rick and Judi Welch, Bill and Peggy Welch, Cindy Leib, and Wendy and Bruce Hunter.
David is preceded in death by his first wife Yvonne (Hennessey) Buch in 2005, his parents, one daughter Jeanette Buch, one son John Steven Buch, and one sister Marian Abraham.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday October 29, 2017 at 3 pm at Poklasny Funeral Home at 870 West South Park Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54902. Visitation will be from 2 pm until 3 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Military Rites will be conducted after the service at the funeral home. Family committal services will be held in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Colorado.
