David J. Land's Obituary
David J. Land age 60 of Oshkosh passed away after a courageous battle with lung cancer on Saturday evening April 18, 2009 at Centennial Inn. He was born in Tennessee on April 4, 1949 the son of Thomas and Ona Sue (Maxwell) Land. David is survived by three children Chris Land of Oshkosh, Jon Land of Waupaca and Bonnie (fiance Richard Gonia) Land of Oshkosh and his beloved cat Max. Seven siblings Jim (Doris) Land and Jeff (Patsy) Land both of Ripley, TN. Carol (John) Bantz of Iowa, Donna Biggs, Tammy Land, Theresa White and Patsy Vaughn all of Ripley, TN. Two grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son David Land in 1975 and one brother Terry Maxwell Land. A Memorial Service will be held at the Fiss & Bills Funeral Home @ 865 S.Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh on Thursday April 23, 2009 at 2pm. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in David's name.
