Dawn Marie Button's Obituary
Dawn Marie Button went to eternal rest on Saturday February 6, 2016. Born May 25, 1957 to Kenneth and Audrey (Lucksinger) Mahlke, she was one of six children with another one being her womb mate. She married Terry Button on October 25, 1980 and was blessed with three children and five grandchildren. Dawn lived for her kids, whether that be rooting for her boys when they played ball, making the treats for the teams her husband coached, and always made time for her daughter. All though the last few years have been tough due to health problems she was always there for them. Dawn was a people person that always said I'm fine when asked how she was doing. She would sit and root for the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and we know she will be rooting for them from above alongside her dad. Preceded Dawn in death were her parents Kenneth and Audrey, paternal grandparents Herman and Odie Mahlke, maternal grandparents Fred and Dolly Lucksinger, aunts, uncles, foster brother Kasey, and father-in-law Charles (Red) Button. She is survived by her husband Terry, son Chris (Janice Brown) Button and Kira and Kendall all of Berlin, WI. Son Matthew Button of Oshkosh, WI. Daughter Amanda Button of Neenah, Kaden, Hunter, and Madison. Brother John Mahlke, sister Sharon (Charles) Larson, Linda and Scott, Ray and Mari Mahlke, Andrew and Mary Mahlke, Brett and Christina, Ryan, Melissa and Austin Mahlke, Jessica Mahlke and her three children. Her womb mate and best friend Darlene Mathison, Steve and Anna, Kyle. David Mahlke, Jennifer Stueck, Janna, Joselyn, and Dustin. Jeanne Mahlke. Justin Mahlke and significant other Meghan and Jayden. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 11am at the Poklasny Funeral Home at 870 W. South Park Ave. Oshkosh, WI 54902. Rev. Martin Ruge will officiate.
