Delbert A. Tollard's Obituary
Delbert A. Tollard, age 82, of Oshkosh, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, November 10, 2009. He was born on July 5, 1927 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin a son of the late Benjamin M. and Rose M. (Meidle) Tollard. He proudly served his country during WW II in the US Navy. Del married Dorothy Kojan on July 5, 1947. She preceded him death.
He is survived by a son, Delbert D. (Donna) Tollard of Homer Glen, IL; two daughters, Diane Inman of Amboy, IL and Delores Dennehy of Chicago, IL; three brothers, Harold (Mary) Tollard, Edward (Patricia) Tollard and Claude (Mary) Tollard all of Oshkosh; five sisters, Elaine Haase of Oshkosh, Fran (Leo) Demski of Oshkosh, Vivian (Terry) Miller of Florida, Darlene Curtis of Oshkosh, Kathy (Tim) Sebora of Oshkosh. He is further survived by eleven grandchildren, Phillip, Brian, Lori, Heather, Stacy, Del, Mike, Jim, Rick, Jenny and Amanda; twelve great-grandchildren, Aurora, Killian, Luke, Hannah, Anastastia, Patrick , Alyssa, Benjamin, Abby, Nathan, Poloma and Lyla Rose; numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and Calvin and a sister, Lorraine Groff.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held (TODAY), Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Poklasny Funeral Home, 870 W. South Park Avenue with the Reverend Ralph Hanusa officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
