Delores A. "Dolly" Vetrone's Obituary
Delores "Dolly" Vetrone
Berlin - On Thursday, April 1, 2010, God saw Dolly getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around her and took her home. Dolly was 76, born on April 22, 1933, the youngest daughter of Norbert and Genevieve (Spritka) Klapper. Dolly's enjoyment in life were her family, baking for others and shopping for bargains with her sister, Elaine. She collected "musical" dancing stuffed animals and was CLOCK CRAZY!! Survivors include her son: George (Jane) Perr of Oshkosh; daughter: Mary Johannes (Mark Knoll) of Oshkosh; two grandsons: Matt (Amanda) Johannes and great-grandchild: Allie of Oshkosh and Joshua Johannes (Jamie and Alexis Appleton) of Oshkosh; sisters: Marion (Fred) Rivers and Elaine Bieganek; niece: Julie Chier and nephews: Frederick Rivers and "Spike" Bieganek and many good friends. Dolly was preceded in death by her infant daughter: Linda Lou, her parents and great-grandson: Gage Johannes. Dolly was a member of ALL SAINTS Catholic Parish and after Sunday services would enjoy breakfast out with her good friend: Elaine Leigh.
Dolly's family woud like to extend their gratitude to the Hospice staff of Neenah, special thanks to cutie-pie Cheryl and Barb for their wonderful care. Also, special thanks to Father Maz and Chaplain Dan who made our last days peaceful by careing and praying for Dolly. May God always bless all of you in many ways.
In keeping with Dolly's wishes, private family services will be held and cremation has taken place. A memorial has been established in her name.
