Dennis F Kohl's Obituary
Dennis Fay Kohl of Oshkosh, WI passed away peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2024, in the presence of his loved ones. He was a native of Oshkosh, born to Fay H. Kohl and Mary Pupeter Kohl on November 11, 1939. Dennis was a very social and charming man resulting in a successful salesman career for 7-Up Bottling Co. and Old Fashion Cheese. Dennis received many awards for his salesmanship. He also was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting in Colorado and Wyoming and his Labrador dogs. He earned awards in marksmanship from sportsman clubs where he excelled in trap shooting. “His family enjoyed all of their special times with Dennis. He will truly be missed and we know he will enjoy his hunting land in Heaven. We love you.”
Dennis is survived by his only sibling, Diane Kohl of Oshkosh and his 3 children,
Richard (Peggy) Kohl of Oshkosh, Kathleen (Kurt) Kohl-Sherburn of Parrish, FL. and
Leanne Rohner of St. Petersburg, FL. He also is survived by 4 grandchildren, Brett,
Justin, Rick Jr. and Kaley and 9 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dennis was a faithful member of Saint Peters Catholic Church in Oshkosh, WI.
A Memorial Mass for Dennis will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 3:00 PM in Most Blessed sacrament Catholic Church (St Peter site) with the Rev. Jerome Pastors officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 2:00 PM until the hour of services.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established
