Diana Louise Artz's Obituary
Diana Louise (Liesch) Artz, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 76 on July 16, 2025. Diana was born on December 9, 1948 in Stevens Point, WI a daughter of the late William and Frieda Liesch. Diana graduated from Clintonville High School in 1967. Shortly after graduating she and Thomas met and then were married on August 17th of 1968. Together the two of them raised two children, Tammy and Terry Artz. Within the 56 years Diana and Thomas built a life filled with camping, square dancing, bowling, motor cycle rides, laughter and love. Her children, Tammy Niemuth and Terry Artz will cherish the memories of her warm hugs, family time and always making family meals. Diana had many hobbies including, sewing, baking, gardening, she also enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls. She will be remembered for her love and her strong faith for her Lord and love she gave her family. She would always pray for them and others in need of prayer.
She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by her husband, Thomas along with their daughter, Tammy (Darrel) Niemuth; a son, Terry (Justine) Artz; five grandchildren, Briana Niemuth, Brittany Niemuth, Benjamin Niemuth, Brandon Artz, Justin Artz; three great-granchildren, Isabella Konczal, Joshua Konczal, Katelyn Konczal. She is further survived by her brothers, Arly and Charles Liesch, other relatives and many dear friends. Her memory will be forever etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11 am in the Fiss and Bills – Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Drive in Oshkosh with the Rev. Chet Cooper officiating. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 9 am until the time of service.
