Diana J. Beduhn's Obituary
Diana J. Beduhn, age 79, passed away at Park View Health Care Center on Thursday evening Feb. 2, 2017. She was born on September 20, 1937 the daughter of the late Lloyd and Grace (Buelter) Walske. Her family traveled quite a bit in her younger years but eventually settled in the Town of Black Wolf. She graduated from Oshkosh High School, but it was her involvement in 4H that she met Carlton H. "Tuffy" Beduhn. They were united in marriage on July 13, 1957. They enjoyed 58 years of marriage. Tuff preceded her in death on Februarry 17, 2016. She was a talented artist which she put to good use in her work as she had her own business, Diana's Lettering Service. She designed many softball, baseball team shirts, bowling team shirts, the Oshkosh Indian logo and later the Wildcat's logo. Anything you wanted embroidered or painted until she was no longer able to work. She was a member of Divine Savior Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac and loved music and sang in the church choir. She enjoyed camping and trout fishing adventures with Tuffy over the years. Also, working on their cabin on the Popple Creek in Saxeville. She also enjoyed nature in their backyards in VanDyne and Saxesville.
She is survived by and her memory will be cherished by an aunt, Betty Buelter; a cousin, Steve (Sandy) Sanders of Oshkosh; sister-in-laws, Joanne Abendroth of Winneconne and Rona Beduhn of Oshkosh; nieces, Jan (Ron) Klemm and Joy Konrad (special friend Ron Knoblauch), Mary Jo (Bob) Poeschl all of Oshkosh; a nephew, Jim (Pam) Beduhn of Sun Prairie. She is further survived by many dear church friends and neighbors in Van Dyne along with many people she met through her business over the years.
Funeral services for Diana will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 12 noon in the Fiss & Bills-Poklasny Funeral Home, 865 S. Westhaven Dr. in Oshkosh with the Rev. Allen Bramstadt of Divine Savior Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in the Town of Black Wolf. A time of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The family wishes to thank the staff at Westbrooke Assisted Living for their care while she resided there and to the entire staff at Park View Health Center for their outstanding care and compassion.
