Diane Lynn Larie's Obituary
Diane Lynn Larie, aged 68, of Oshkosh, passed away on Valentine’s Day, 2022.
Diane was born, June 21, 1953, in Oshkosh, WI, the daughter of Gloria and George Larie. In May of 1976, she graduated with an English major and music minor from Lawrence University in Appleton, WI.
Diane had a deep appreciation of music, English literature, and poetry. She was a published poet. Her artistic talents were also recognized in her sketches and drawings. In recent years, pottery classes brought her much joy.
Diane touched people in her life with her kind, gentle, and caring spirit, and according to friends, was a healing listener. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her brother, Patrick Larie (Patricia), and sisters, Jane Bowers (Wiley), and Joan Precourt (Bob), nephew Ben Precourt and nieces Grace and Laura Precourt.
A private funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 23, at 11:00, at St. Peters Church in Oshkosh, Fr. Jerry Pastors and Deacon Bob Precourt officiating.
Following the funeral Mass, Diane will be laid to rest at Lake View Memorial Park.
