Dolores Kiesow's Obituary
Dolores L Kiesow, age 97, passed away on Thursday July 22, 2021 at Bethel home in Oshkosh. She was born in Oshkosh on June 10, 1924 the daughter of the late Fred and Viola Baker Esslinger. Dolores married Donald Kiesow in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oshkosh on September 7, 1946. Until the time of her retirement she was employed by AT&T as a supervisor.
Dolores was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and especially enjoyed spending time with and helping care for her grandchildren. Other hobbies over the years included league bowling, perch fishing, gambling at the casino, playing bingo, and reading books by her favorite author Danielle Steel. You could also find Dolores caring for her pets and feeding the squirrels. As a result of her generous spirit and pleasant personality, she was loved by many.
Dolores is survived by her husband; Donald Kiesow of Oshkosh; daughter Kim (Hans) Kuster of Oshkosh; grandchildren Hadley (Jeremy) Haney of Appleton, Grant Kuster of Oshkosh; great-grandchildren Raylan and Priya Haney; sister Patricia; devoted nieces Wendy Neyhard, Judy (Tom) McKenney, Barbara (David) Dougherty; and devoted nephews Terry (Helen) Zuehlke and Ronald (Kathy) Zuehlke. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, and 4 sisters.
Funeral services for Dolores will be held at Poklasny Funeral Home (870 W South Park) on Tuesday July 27, at 12:00 PM with the Louis Golamari officiating. Burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Park. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:30 AM until the hour of services.
